Case Study 9

Pre-Visualised Communication System for an Automation Technical Centre

When the Environment Shifts Daily | Stability Under Public Scrutiny |Lok Sabha Constituency |Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh

In 2020, an automation and robotics technical centre at IMT Manesar commissioned M’Studio to develop a complete communication system. The facility was fully operational and engineered for efficiency, with emphasis on essential equipment and live workflows. The objective was to produce a deployment-ready asset that conveyed full application scope without interrupting operations or exposing proprietary systems.

Challange:

Challange:

  1. Achieve representational completeness within a live, efficiency-driven environment

  2. Demonstration scenarios requiring visual articulation beyond what was physically staged on the floor

  3. Technical documentation intentionally limited due to proprietary safeguards

  4. Several processes typically communicated through direct engineering interaction

  5. Translate installed equipment into complete application context

  6. Maintain technical validity for investor and tender audiences

  7. Accommodate evolving engineering inputs

  8. Remain aligned with actual system capability

  9. Requirement for a controlled pre-visualisation workflow instead of a conventional brochure build

Approach

  1. Structure the engagement as an integrated pre-visualisation pipeline

  2. End-to-end ownership including:

    • visual ideation and scenario planning

    • on-site photographic acquisition

    • CGI augmentation and subject substitution where required

    • custom layout system

    • technical editing and written content development

    • equipment planning and execution logistics

  3. Execution by a two-person production unit

  4. Continuous production workflow from pre-production through final delivery

  5. Maintain alignment between engineering inputs and the finished system

Execution

Work began with an on-site technical assessment to determine where direct capture was sufficient and where visual completion was required.

Targeted CGI Integration
Where demonstration contexts required fuller visual expression, controlled CGI augmentation was introduced to depict accurate operating conditions. Each intervention was cross-verified against engineering inputs to preserve dimensional and process fidelity.

Photographic Base Capture
Live equipment and spatial environments were documented under active-site constraints, ensuring all augmented visuals remained anchored to real geometry, lighting behaviour, and operational context.

Content Structuring
Given the intentionally restricted documentation environment, technical narratives were developed through structured coordination with engineering stakeholders. Emphasis remained on process clarity and application accuracy.

Layout System Build
A custom communication architecture was developed to support multi-channel deployment across investor decks, sales kits, and tender documentation. The layout prioritised rapid technical readability and modular reuse.

Throughout execution, evolving inputs were managed through controlled versioning to maintain alignment with the underlying engineering reality.
